David Bodanis is the author of numerous books, including The Secret House, a New York Times bestseller; Electric Universe, which won the Royal Society Prize for Best Science Book of the Year; and E=mc2, an international bestseller that was translated into 28 languages, longlisted for the Samuel Johnson Prize for Nonfiction, and adapted into the PBS NOVA documentary Einstein's Big Idea. Bodanis studied mathematics, physics, and economics at the University of Chicago, and for many years taught the "Intellectual Tool Kit"course at Oxford University. Originally from Chicago, he currently lives in London.
