Holly Black is a journalist and editor specialising in the visual arts. She cut her teeth at Art Quarterly before working as an editor at Elephant magazine. Her writing has appeared in Aperture, Apollo, The Art Newspaper, House & Garden, Museums Journal, Wallpaper and more.
After studying graphic design at London College of Communication where she spent her time hiding out in the vast printing studios, she undertook a masters in curating at Chelsea College of Art and Design.
Her first book, Artists on Art, was published by Laurence King. Her forthcoming book on the history of printmaking will be published by Yale University Press.
Holly was born in Brighton and lives in London with her rescue dog.
