Kieran James Cunningham is a climber, mountaineer, and freelance writer. He studied American Studies at the University of Edinburgh and Philosophy at the University of Lisbon. Since graduating, he has climbed and travelled extensively in the Alps, Himalaya, Rockies, Dolomites, and throughout the UK. He grew up in Lundin Links, Fife, and now lives in Sondrio, Italy. His first book, Climbing the Walls, was published this year by Simon & Schuster.
