Dr Sarah Ellis is Feline Behaviour Specialist for the animal welfare charity 'International Cat Care'. She is also a Visiting Fellow at the University of Lincoln, U.K, the University at which she spent 8 years as a post-doctoral research researching various topics in companion animal behaviour, welfare and cognition. She holds a PhD from Queen’s University Belfast in the area of domestic cat welfare and has dedicated much of her professional work to improving the life of our pet cats. Sarah is an avid animal lover and lives in Wiltshire with her husband, son, a dog and a very spoiled cat.
The Trainable Cat (2016) is Sarah's first book that, having previously written extensively for the professional and academic audiences on the behaviour of the domestic cat, she co-wrote with renowned author, John Bradshaw.
