Will Ashon was born in Leicester in 1969. He worked as a music journalist and founded the record label Big Dada Recordings in 1996, which he ran for over fifteen years, working with artists including Roots Manuva, Wiley and Young Fathers. He has published two novels with Faber & Faber, Clear Water and The Heritage. His debut non-fiction work, Strange Labyrinth, was published by Granta in 2017 followed by Chamber Music in 2018.
His latest book, The Passengers, is published by Faber & Faber.
